THE MAGIC CARPET RIDE – A visit to the Secret Library of Ancient Wisdom, is a metaphor story based on the Great Wise Wizard calling children to the Castle, where magic really happens, to visit the Secret Library, helping them discover how to unleash the power of their mind and to teach them how to enjoy studying and learning.
When a story is told as a metaphor, it has a special effect. Metaphors are the language of the sub conscious mind. Telling metaphors is a fun way of teaching children and adults alike, as it is a way that the lesson is taught through by- passing the critical factor.
Read as a bedtime story every night, the story unfolds and the child discovers the secret of Ancient Wisdom relating to the importance of knowledge. The Secrets of Ancient Wisdom is the catalyst for embedding in the child’s mind the belief that learning is fun and that being a good student will assist them in enjoying a more rewarding life. This story will be loved by all children and it will be especially effective for children who lack the drive and interest in studying.
To augment this learning the story has also been recorded on a CD in a tone that induces total relaxation and it is not unusual for the child to fall asleep before the recording is finished.
This CD MUST NOT be used when driving or using any type of machinery, as the recording does put the listener into a very relaxed self – hypnotic state of mind. It is best listened to with earphones, in a quiet place where there is no distraction.
