The Invisible Magic Armour is a metaphor story based on a visit to the Castle, where magic happens. The Wizard calls children to the Castle offering to give them a special magical gift. When the child arrives at the Castle, the Wizard directs them to a special room. In the room, they discover a magic armour with their name on it. When it is put on the armour becomes invisible however it gives the child special powers.
When a story is told as a metaphor, it has a special effect. Metaphors are the language of the sub conscious mind. Telling metaphors is a fun way of teaching children and adults alike, as it is a way that the lesson is taught through by- passing the critical factor.
Read as a bedtime story every night the story unfolds and the child discovers that he/she has the power to activate the magic shield when they feel intimidated, scared or they feel they need confidence. The Invisible Magic Armour is the catalyst for embedding in the child’s mind the belief that they are confident and perfect just the way they are, reinforcing their self-worth and self-esteem. This story will be loved by all children and it will be especially effective for children who lack self-esteem, self-confidence or who are victims of bullying.
To augment this learning the story has also been recorded on a CD in a tone that induces total relaxation and it is not unusual for the child to fall asleep before the recording is finished
This CD MUST NOT be used when driving or using any type of machinery, as the recording does put the listener into a very relaxed self – hypnotic state of mind. It is best listened to with earphones, in a quiet place where there is no distraction.
